For comparison: Tom Brady has never been outside the top 10 in passer rating in his career and Peyton Manning was only outside the top 10 in his rookie season. Brady has been in the top 3 as many times as Eli has been in the top 16 and Peyton has been #1 as many times as Eli has been in the top 16.

Yes. He won the game tonight. 30/40, 295 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT. 75% completion percentage. Probably close to a Super Bowl record.

Name me one QB who's won two Super Bowls with two Super Bowl MVPs and not made the Hall of Fame.

You're comparing him to better QBs.

Those are future Hall of Famers. Just because I'm saying he's a lock doesn't mean I think he's better than Peyton or Brady. But he's am elite QB. At this point, you're not going to be able to name more than 5 QBs you'd take over Eli.

Do you not think Big Ben is a future Hall of Famer? He and Eli have pretty comparable stats and came into the league at the same time. Ben got there mainly because the Steelers' dominant defense. That doesn't mean he's not a Hall of Famer.

How about Terry Bradshaw? 4 time Super Bowl champion, but his stats aren't that great. Still a Hall of Famer.

What about John Elway? His QB rating sucked - Hall of Famer.

Passer rating is the most over rated stat used in football. The one that gets lost in other stats that is the most telling is clutch. The dude is just clutch when it counts
