I was saying the Pats would probably get him as well... Might as well cut Ochostinko while they're at it.

We will get Lloyd. Then he'll play bad like he did when he was in Washington.

    ESPN Insider:

"As the deadline for NFL teams to make trades approaches on Tuesday, one name has dominated the conversation: Brandon Lloyd. This could be due to the fact that we have a confirmed report that he is on the block, though this is by no means a guarantee that the Denver Broncos will, in fact, trade him.

However, we got in touch with Stephen Oh of Accuscore to assess how an acquisition of Lloyd would affect the playoff and division title chances of four specific teams, all of whom have been rumored to be in the mix to trade for the wideout and all of whom are in playoff contention through the first five weeks.

Based on Accuscores simulations, the San Francisco 49ers are positioned for the most success of the four with or without Lloyd. Accuscore predicts 10.1 wins without him, and 10.3 with him. Their chances of making the playoffs jump from 90.3 percent to 92.2 with the acquisition, and their respective chances at winning the NFC West go from 88.5 to 90.1.

The Buffalo Bills are atop the AFC East, and Accuscore gives them an 18.2 percent chance of staying there as currently constructed, with a 20.3 percent chance if they trade for Lloyd; their playoff chances would jump from 53.2 to 55.5 with the move. For the Washington Redskins, there is just a slight bump in their NFC East division chances (14.9 percent to 15.6) by adding Lloyd, with their playoff chances increasing from 27.9 percent to 29.0.

The team that has the most significant increase across the board in the simulations is the Tennessee Titans, and this makes sense: they lost Kenny Britt for the season, and don't have a true No. 1 option in the passing game with which to replace him. If Lloyd winds up in Nashville, the Titans' chances at winning the AFC South go from 30.6 percent to 35.5 (an increase of 4.9), while their playoff probability jumps 6.9 percentage points from 35.2 to 42.1.

As mentioned above, there's no guarantee that the Titans -- or any team -- take the plunge on a one-year rental of Lloyd. But, they would certainly improve their chances of returning to the playoffs if they did."

I bet the Broncos mouths are watering at giving Lloyd to the Patriots to help them out even more.

Of course Bill and the Patriots have a gazillion draft picks stashed away so of course they have the luxury of pulling the trigger.Wouldn't shock me if both Lloyd and Royal both went to New England for an assorted amounted of picks and a player or two.

CBS is speculating that the Pats want him just to make sure the Bills don't get him...must be nice to have that many "arrows" in your arsenal.

Also interesting...in a 3 minute conversation of who is interested in Lloyd, the Pats, Lions, Bills, 49ers, and others came up...but no Titans.

To be fair, just because we weren't mentioned doesn't mean there's no interest. That said, if we don't at least make an offer (which we'll probably never know if he goes elsewhere) it'd be a huge mistake by the front office. Jags suck. Colts suck. Texans are falling apart. We're slightly above-average. We need to make a move like this to put ourselves in the best possible position to take the division.

Lloyd is well worth a 3rd given our current situation.
