i think 9-7 or 8-8 would be considered a success for 2011 if they did reach that amount of wins.expectations right now are around the 5-11 mark.

Don't backpedal. You were trying to ridicule people for thinking we'd make the playoffs with VY as the starter and the addition of Morgan. And we didn't have those two things.

The last thing i want to see is Offensive Line woes like we did last season and then throw Jake Locker in there when the protection isn't at its best(Amano).I've also seen the name David Carr being thrown around as someone who could be brought in due to the Palmer connection on offense. We all remember how Carr got beat down like a rag doll and has been sacked 265 times in his career. We don't want Locker being thrown in there with those mistakes going on.Have faith our hall of fame O line guys Munch and Matthews can whip that line into good shape. We are usually known for how good our linemen are so i don't see any problems.

I thought your OL was good?

    6th fewest sacks
    1st fewest QB hits allowed

Last season the offensive line play sure didn't seem up to the usual standards here to me.

Statistically they were good, but watching the games reveals that the holes simply weren't there like they were for CJ in years prior, the protection would degenerate on key downs, and costly penalties would kill drives. It was a matter of bad play at bad times, which could be said for most of our team last season.

The bolded yellow portion of your post happens to every team.

Except on teams that actually have a bad OL it happens all the time.

I gotta say its hard to believe you guys had a bad OL.
Trust me I've actually witnessed what a bad OL looks like and looking at your numbers I gotta say only 26 sacks is damn good.
Then you have the fewest QB hits in the league? That's great. Burgundy and Gold had the 2nd most.

No offense, but its sounds like you guys are a bit spoiled when it comes to OL play.

Yes, Titans fans have been spoiled by some great OL play in recent years. That doesn't mean the OL play last year was good enough, though. It wasn't nearly as bad as the Redskins, but it wasn't good enough. It will have to improve.

The Titans are a team that relies on great OL play in order to successful, not a team that can overcome bad OL play (like the Colts or Steelers).

Colts dont have bad OL play, at least not in QB protection. they make it a point to keep Manning off the ground. and they used their 1st round pick to make sure it stays that way.
