I'm very happy for Washburn. Great guy who deserves better than his loyalty to Fisher has given him.

As for us, any change is good.

There's no reason to think that a fisher team will improve next year. Any change that is imposed on our staff by necessity might be the only one that we see.

It can't make us any worse.

    Roll on 2012:)

While it may be crude, I think this team will not see prosperity again until, God forbid, Bud's passing or resignation. He seems very fickle at this age.

He's always been an @$$. Now he's a senile old @$$ Who did one great thing, bringing football to Nashville, in an ownership career full of failures.

It's amazing that you can own a team since before the merger and not stumble upon a Super Bowl win. (though he did have some AFL Champs, but that hasn't mattered since the 70s) The Buccaneers have been a laughing stock for much of their existence and they have done it.

That has to go down to ownership, plain and simple.

The Panthers have been around for about 15 years, and they have succeeded in matching our greatest accomplishment. They did that within their first 8 years of existence.

The Jags had been around for 3 years when they made it to the AFC championship game, where we haven't been in 7 years.

It's clear that the foundation is shaky. The fans deserve better. We usually stick around unlike Jags/Buccaneer fans.

Good for Washburn! I am happy for him. At least he knows when to abandon ship. Besides him, I don't think anybody else on Fisher's staff is worth a damn.

True Bud is responsible for keeping Fisher on 10 years too long.

Training camp will never be the same. Titanium needs to post that photo of him from training camp a couple of season's ago. :brow:

    I wish him the best.

It's going to take several years to climb from the pit Fisher and Adams has dug. Bud let Fisher have too much authority on the one hand, and not enough on the other. He let him be in charge of just about everything to do with the team, but then turned around and demanded he take a QB that Fisher didn't want. And that one action has led to this mess.

Well, at least my Preds are looking good, even with half their stars on the injured list. They just keep on keeping on!! Yeah! I love hockey!!! GO PREDS!!! GO FLYERS!!! :D

Titans FS Michael Griffin has been added to the AFC's Pro Bowl roster, replacing Ed Reed (undisclosed).
Griffin started the 2010 season piping hot with four picks and six forced turnovers all-told in the first seven games, but his performance fell off dramatically down the stretch.

You may be right. Maybe he knows already what the owners are going to do. Let's see how he responds to this departure.

I wouldn't. Knowing us we'd end up with Leaf.
