This is the absolute worst year to have a QB debacle.

We can't trade our pick for a QB, even if they wanted to.

McNabb would make alot of since and would be a huge upgrade over KFC. I still fear that we draft a qb, and now that fisher is a lame duck, KFC plays and we go 4-12. Rookie never sees the field

please god not McNabb arent you people tired of mobile QB's?

good god, just get us a dang good passer and be done with the QB issue for years.

trade VY and someone else for Matt Flynn and we will be set. Flynn is gonna be good, so get him now.

Orton looked well against some sorry teams, but couldnt even keep the score competitive against decent teams

What has Locker shown to warrant a top 10 pick, besides the fact that Luck dropped out, which isnt him showing anything, its us showing everyone were desperate

McNabb hasn't been mobile in 6 or 7 years. He had to adapt (like Vick) to play more in the pocket......his knees just can't take it anymore. He'll still run once in a while, but infrequently.

His numbers are very solid and he's only 34. He could possibly break 40,000 yards next season.......230 TD's and only 115 ints in 12 years. If we want a short term fix and a locker room leader, he would be an ideal candidate.

maybe true but he has had very little protection it the pocket. our o-line>>>denvers in pass protection.

locker my not necessarily warrent a top 10 pick but i can guarantee you he will be picked in the top 15. there are to many QB needy teams and to little options in free agency.

i do belive that locker can be a franchise QB. he has played very good with a horrible O-line and stone hand receivers. give him a year or 2 to work on being able to read a defense and he will be ready. kyle orton would only be a temporary solution anyway

I agree. Locker's numbers were a product of a poor supporting cast. He is an athletic freak, has a cannon arm, is a dual-threat to run, and despite repeated frustrating drops kept his cool and displayed incredible maturity. I think he would plug into the current scheme easily. He's been playing in a pro-style offense (unlike Cam) and he's a year or two ahead in his development than Cam also. He has established his integrity and understands what it takes to be a locker room leader. He doesn't expect anything to be handed to him. He'll set the example and put in the hard work.

I don't think we can wait until next year. Besides Luck, I'm not sure if anything arguable would come available...

    My two cents...

There will likely be 3 QBs in the draft next year that will grade out higher then any QB in this draft. Luck, Barkley, and Landry Jones. With Fisher knowing he has to win now, I would be shocked if we took a QB in round 1. He will use that pick on someone that can come in and make an impact from day 1 and go out and get a veteran QB.
