It seems to me that the people above fisher wanted moss when fisher did not, so he is sticking it to them by not playing him.

I think the Titans brought in Moss because they didn't know how long it would take to get Britt back on the field. I'm no doctor but, based on following injured players with hamstrings previously, it's hard to predict when it'll be 100% and it's easy to tweak it again. Moss was insurance.

Moss stepped into his normal X spot and Britt was just getting comfortable with the X. Once Britt returned, I'm thinking Moss wasn't willing to learn another spot, or, IMO, wouldn't upgrade Washington.

I don't think the Titans felt Britt would be able to go as much as he did or be as productive as he was. Once he did, there was no reason to replace him with Moss.

I have no idea why they wouldn't work up a handful of plays designed for both Britt and Moss on the field. Even if it were two go routes, you'd think the safeties would have to play back as would the corners which might give CJ more room.

Jeff Fisher said they would have gone after Moss even with Britt healthy. So that right there tells you Moss was not acquired to replace Britt, he was brought in to improve the offense. Now the fact that Moss has done nothing should tell us all we need to know about Jeff Fisher's inability to draw up anything. He's still working off that 1985 Bears playbook.

And you believe that? What was he to say?

"We needed someone to come in because Britt is down and we don't have anyone on the roster who can pull the safety out-of-the-box".

    Fisher-speak.

There is a conspiracy: Moss can keep making his money without doing any work, so he will continue to do so, as long as it pays, and be happy about it. He is the highest paid-most useless WR since Troy Williamson.
