Haven't seen this posted on yet but, 1. If rusty smith gave us the best chance to win the washington game and was good enough to start the Houston game, then why has he been demoted to #3 qb?

    2. We were so sure of rusty that the genius crafted a texan game plan of 7 cj runs and 31 rookie passes. Kid was doomed to fail, but at least he is the only qb that has even tried to get the ball to 84.

    3. If chris simms is better than rusty, why did we cut simms earlier. If Simms is better why didnt we see him in the houston game? Did anyone watch simms in training camp and the preseason? He was terrible and he is a vet.

    4. If is last name was not simms would he even be here?

your right on all 4 points.

I heard fish face say on the radio that Simms had played in more games than the Rifle - well no crap chit for brains!

I can't believe Simms is in front of Rusty. Simms is terrible they must have no confidence in Rusty we could have 3 new Qb next year this will be interesting.

Safe bet that Simms caught up over the past weeks and is simply #2 because of pure experience. Rusty would have never started had it not been for injuries to 1 and 2 and Simms basically coming in off the street that week. This is hardly unusual.

If that were the case, then why was simms not signed after the miami game when it was clear that KFC was out a couple of weeks? I would drather roll with a rookie, instead of a retread vet in a season gone. Simms was terrible in training camp and preseason! KFC and Rusty numbers were not that much different and the results were very similiar. Except one was at home and one on the road. One been in the league 18 years and one is a rookie. Rusty is catching alot of flake but the staff put the kid in a bad situation. He seems to have a cannon for an arm. I would rather role with the rookie (after peyton rights the ship and throws for 400 and 4 td's, against the 4 man rush and the zone coverage thats coming) than retreads that have no future with the organization. But what do I know, I would have kept blount and cut Nickey. (would have cut him 7 years ago)

Thas pretty much it. Rusty doesnt give us the best chance to win so hes 3rd.

But you know, the team would benefit in the long term by playing him now, whether its bby moving our pick up in the draft, as well as perhaps developing into a good player or backup more quickly.

Rusty is gay his gonna get cut.

I have never seen a rookie QB suck so much in so little playing time he did every thing wrong.

He had his chance and blow it.

    BYE BYE loser.

I don't understand why we wouldn't play Rusty either for experience or just to see if he's a possible starter next season. Obviously he's looked horrible, I don't expect much, but this was the guy Fisher and Heimi wanted, I thought?

Unfortunately this leads me to a worse conclusion. Fisher thinks KfC will retire and Simms might compete for the starting job next year. So he needs all the reps and experience he can get this season.
