    How this kid lasted until the 4th rd is beyond me. Yes he isn't that big and his timed speed was good not great but he was the smartest corner in the draft and one of the most accomplished. Only Joe Haden and Earl Thomas have comparable ball skills.

    There has to be lots of great film playing in the Pac 10.

    What a great pick and i don't think he is giving up that starting spot for another 10 years.

    I agree with all and don't think Verner should lose his starting job. That said, I think JMac is still a good solid player.

    My concern week after week lately has been the tried and true Chris Hope.

    I'd love to see him benched for Fuller (love him but his true position is Safety).

    Our best lineup in my opinion at this point is

    SS - Fuller
    FS - Griffin
    CB1 - Finnegan
    CB2 - Verner
    Nickel Corner - McCourtey

    Vincent Fuller has never and will never play a full game at safety for this team unless a rash of injuries happens.

    Verner is a nice departure from some of the young thugs on our team. I'm just saying. If you're on some of their twitter you know what I am talking about. He is a nice guy and good at his position at such an early point in his career.

    Ya idk if you can go saying Fuller is our best option at SS, he's never even started a game there. Granted, we need to find a replacement for hope, but saying it's Fuller is pure speculation

    Fuller doesn't have the body type for SS either. I think Mccourty at NB is a real possibility next year. Fuller is a smart player with some good qualities but Mccourty would be an upgrade in coverage.

    He had an exceptionally high SAT score, but his grammar is not that good. If you've ever read his blog you'll notice plenty of grammar mistakes. He's certainly bright, no doubt about that.

    The smartest guy has to be Donnie Nickey. You explain to me how he's still on this team? He knows something.

    I agree with everyone that Fuller has never played a game at SS so we don't know what he would do (could be a bust there).

    I think we would all agree though that Verner should start leaving the next question of Fuller or McCourty at Nickel Corner.

    I agree RollTide that McCourty would be an upgrade in coverage.. but does anyone on this board really want to see Fuller on the bench?

    Now I would ask if anyone wouldn't mind seeing Hope on the bench? I wouldn't mind at all.
