Mouton may replace Harper next season. However, our starting five (including Fuller) are set, and deservedly so, for this season.

Berry doesn't cover well enough to play corner in the nfl. He's a ball-hawk safety, and that's where he'll need to be in the NFL to be successful. But... that's a different topic. He's irrelevant to us.

Chris McAllister is still a free agent... just a thought.

^Yea, we need to explore outside options in the area of corner back depth. Roethlisberger demolished our secondary Thursday with 7-8 guys in coverage. It might be a little early, but I'm already having nightmares about Andre Johnson.

Yep, we should try him out. The man was one of the best in the business a few years ago. And he's younger than Nick Harper too. It couldn't hurt, especially with how we did against the Steelers and their average passing game. We also need to get pressure on the QB though, that was one of the biggest things we lacked in the 2nd half against Pittsburgh.

Everytime Holmes caught a pass on Harper all i kept thinking about was the eye surgery that Harper had done in the off season that was suppose to help him see better. Looked like it made his vision worse not better.

Yeah but after the snaps, Ben not only had time to read the defense, but also to pour, mix and down a few shots of Jaegerbombs before he stopped, planted his feet and pitched it to one of the WRs he had open by then.

As for Andre Johnson, he might get a couple of lucky receptions, but I just really don't see Schaub having as much time as Ben to throw, plus Schaub isn't a 'run around and make plays out of nothing' type of QB either.
I see Houston trying to run, and to make quick passes to get the ball out of Schaub's hands as fast as possible.

Vision doesn't help much when you don't have the wheels and acceleration to close quick enough.

Very true but when that article came out,he made it seem like the surgery was going to turn him into a new player.

"I can tell a big, big difference. It is like night and day. I could not believe I was that blind. Now I should be able to catch some of those balls I dropped. That might have cost me going to the Pro Bowl. I think I dropped seven interceptions last year.":disbelief

But like you said, you need the wheels to get to the rock.

Your probably right about Schaub. But we WILL see Roethlisberger again, and better be ready for that future match-up.
