You do realize the team that won the TOP also won the game, right? Tomlin out-Fishered us. I agree about the hurry-up, though... on defense we need to have an answer to get off the field when teams do that to us, and on offense when we're stuck in the mud we should use it to get some momentum. Collins can run the hurry-up.

 

I wish we would run more of the hurry-up (and shotgun too). Vince can run that pretty well too and would be a more seamless transition if Collins went down. And given the pressure Collins saw Thursday, the shotgun might give him more room to work with so defenders aren't in his face as soon as he takes the snap.
Plus it's so effective when you can execute it properly.

 

Is this a thread where the sane post? I'm going to re-watch the game later and focus on our offensive formations... And look at our swiss cheese impressions(out Fishering ouselves)... Should be interesting I'll letcha know... As for Manning playing that poorly, c'mon he'd need 5 more picks and about 200 more yards, big deal.

Answer.... Gage and Steve Smith of that list have the HIGHEST YAC of 5.6 yards. Of the top 30 total yardage receivers in the AFC last season Gage was second only to Wes Welker (6.8) and Owen Daniels a TE (6.1).

ok sorry i didnt research my stats.... now out of that list, in what order would you rank those WRs... id rank gage dead last by a mile

go google some more stats to make it seem like gage is good... i use my eyes to evaluate a player, not googling stats

 

this doesn't change the fact that Gage is mediocre...
