No, you've got it wrong. The reason the poll is dumb is because his contract already includes next season. He'll definitely be here next season. It's not in question. If this thread were to debate whether or not he'd be here in 2010, that would be relevant. But we know for sure that he'll be here next year, so it's not anything to discuss. So buy your throwback in peace, and hope that we wear it at home instead of in Houston.

But that's not for him to decide. I'm pretty sure Steve McNair didn't want to pack up and move he and his family & belongings to Baltimore either, but he had to...because the Titans didn't let him retire in Tennessee.

At this moment, I'm more worried about Haynesworth being a Titan next season.

You're right. Eddie George wasn't released with a year left on his contract. Steve McNair wasn't traded with a year left on his contract. Frank Wycheck didn't retire with TWO years left on his contract. Derrick Mason, Smari Rolle, Kevin Carter, and Fred Miller weren't released with time on their contracts. If Bulluck is under contract he'll definitely be here, no question, fore sure, etc.

Wycheck retiring is irrelevant to how long he had left on his contract.

Mason, Rolle, Carter and Miller were cut because of cap.
McNair was owed $50 million, he was never going to get it.
