Totally different place for Warner. Not only did he come up as undrafted, can’t make the team but ultimately turned out better than THill by fighting out his mentors whoever they were.

THill was expected to start and lead a SB team as a rookie with no mentor ship along the way.

Even then, does Warner get credit for mentoring Eli Manning (who clearly didn’t get the mentoring idea at his end), Marc bulger, Matt leinert, Josh mccown?

I like that THill said this. He’s going to put his dedication into himself to improve which is really all the titans need. If Willis is a season good as some think, he won’t need THill’s mentorship and might even be better off without it. If THill ends up sucking, I hope he doesn’t go back to his “dark place” but he can’t, and likely won’t, stay here.

I just think Tannehill is pathetic for having to go to therapy over losing a football game. Some people have to worry about putting food on the table. You lost a game and are still getting paid almost $40 million a year. He’s not a leader of men. I’ve lost all respect for him.

Hey! Can't be saying stuff like this, it hard for these guys out there in the NFL. Could you imagine making millions but always thinking that one tackle could end your career so you got to get every penny you can. I'm sure your average construction job Joe will make 40 million in his entire lifetime, hell he can make a million.

The "rub some dirt in it" days are long gone. Therapy is common place now. Athough I really think that sometimes exploration of "feewings" can delay maturation/growth and even healing. I'm old school. The strong take adversity and get stronger on their own resolve. The weak flounder around looking for reasons other than I need to get tougher, work harder, emulate those people and methods I want to be like.

It's a new day. Participation trophies has made younger generations blind to the sacrifices that winners make to win. Like I said, I'm old school. But IMO, losing or defeat is some of the strongest "therapy" a strong person can have to get better. It's a delayed gratification process. Something else this new digital world with immediate social ("fake"?) affirmation has introduced into the next generation of people.

In regards to Tannehill, he has a flaw IMO that he hasn't issued a significant apology to the fans for the past two years playoff performance. He just "laughs it off".

Good for Tannehill for seeking help and being open about it but on the other hand suck it up ..to lost a couple of football games, the fans and media were probably rough in him but it comes with the territory. He's making millions, has a good family....we all face challenges in life without the financial stability. I know I've been through enough sh*t to last a lifetime...pick yourself up and carry on.
As far as the mentoring thing..if he doesn't think he should mentor Willis fine just don't say it...be a good teammate and the media, players and fans won't jump on you. Be professional, he's in that leader role as our QB.
