Pre-Game Thread Game Week 1: Cardinals @ Titans

Sucks man.
For me week 1 is the best time of the year. Even when we had a sh***y team.

 

I admire your dedication but you just gotta enjoy the ride homie, life is too short, don't ever care more than the guys getting paid millions to play

 

I'm excited for every year, regardless of how we are doing...did I get pissed off at times? Sure but I still look forward to the next game

 

We always play poorly on the west coast, and yeah, that's one of the toughest stadiums in the league.

You start off flat up there, you can be in trouble quick.

I'd much rather go in there 1-0 and playing with house money than looking to stave off 0-2.

 

Yeah. This is supposed to be entertainment. If it is messing with your real life, you might ought to walk away entirely. It isn't worth it.

Woohoo, football season is back! I’m excited to see this revamped defense.

We can only hope that we take a huge step forward from last years debacle. If the defense is even middle road, we could be serious SB contenders!

 

I feel pretty confident the defense will be better (tighter coverage and a better pass rush). Not sure the offense can be stopped if we have good play calling. I'd look for big plays off play action early and hopefully we can get a lead and let Henry pound them silly in the 2nd half.

 

Nate Davis and Ben Jones both just got activated from the Covid List.

Titans have activated Ben Jones and Nate Davis from the Reserve-Covid list.

 

This game will not even be close. We will go up big in the first quarter. It will not be too much different than a preseason game. Look for a lot of our backups to get a lot of reps. We may allow a honorary Touchdown by Fitzgerald like those videos of teams that let their water boy score type of thing. We will beat them so bad the St Louis Cardinals will feel it.
