The COVID Thread

Generally speaking I believe I’ll be fine but being forced to take is additional insurance for me, that if I have a negative reaction, I’m getting paid by those that forced me to take it. The can go after the government specifically regarding the use, approval, push of the vaccine as a whole. Since I work for the government, my particular case would also be on the government dime.
Literally no one should be forced to take this vaccine yet. It needs more testing and specifically dealing with long term possible issues.

As it’s been discussed, this is looking more like a annual flu vaccine vice a one time measles or chicken pox vaccine. No one is forced to get a flu shot although highly recommended. But the flu scientists also recognize it changes every year, it’s about time the COVID scientists start regarding it in the same fashion and stop pushing get the falsehood that if you’re vaccinated, you’re good.

And, because this is an every year thing, time to drop all the restrictions (mask, social distancing, etc) because the reality is it’s never going away an no one wants to remain in these conditions indefinitely which goes to another falsehood about everyone getting vaccinated, that things will go back to normal. As we see n the current vaccinated population, that’s not happening.

 

Yeah I encourage everyone to go back and watch the video, you’ll see where he said it was a sub award from EcoHealth. And it was. All public record verifies this.

Actually, it very well did go back to normal for a little while or pretty close to it.

I don’t think that’s going to work out the way you want it to. A lot of military personnel did the same thing in the 90’s and 2000’s. We see how it panned out for them. The federal courts certainly will avoid it for as long as possible because the precedent is pretty clear, but it will be a touchy issue in the current political climate.

It may not but if I get the vaccine before mandated, it most certainly will not work out. That’s why I said it was additional insurance. If I volunteer for the shot, I have no case with anyone ever.

 

It already is a touchy issue. Lawsuits on the legality of forcing the vaccine have already started. Secdef just published his mando memo on Wed. People were waiting for it. Navy still hasn’t published the official order yet (called navadmin or EXORD).

For the record, I don’t think anyone will win the case of arguing they don’t have to get it. Maybe the medical condition folks (which is extremely small) but I don’t think they’ll need a court case to be waived.

 

Different cases and certainly different starting points.
You remember how the news was dominated by anti-anthrax vaccine military members? Of course not. It was never even advertised to the public it was happening.

In this case, not only is there a rushed vaccine, with still ongoing effectiveness testing, but this has been argued from the onset.
I can’t predict how that would roll out, but lots of differences between the two cases despite some similarities.

 

And what do you think “work out” looks like? Large sums of cash thrown your way?
