Didn’t catch this part of his story either. I thought he was just a wrestler, not also a former OL.
The minor concern I brought up is even more null knowing he’s played before.

He was an All-State linebacker in high school and was an honorable mention offensive lineman. He attended the University of Michigan but never played football for the team

High School Oline is night and day different from what he is looking at. I hope he makes it but the odds are definitely against him. That is not a controversial take.

 

If he makes the team it means he is better than the guy who would have made it. As far as if he can acclimate, learn and reach that point over other guys that were quality OGs in college remains to be seen. We shall see.
