Milton Williams - 3-4 DE - Louisiana Tech

    From PFF:
Williams was a PFF darling this past season, notching 88.0-plus grades as both a run defender and a pass rusher — the only player at the position to do so.

With no NFL scouting combine this year due to COVID-19, Williams was forced to rely on a mock combine run by athletic training company EXOS. He subsequently put up ridiculous numbers that people had a hard time believing. So, Williams went ahead and tested again at Louisiana Tech’s Pro Day and recorded the following results (percentiles are historical at the position):

    • Height: 6-foot-3 (50th percentile)
    • Weight: 284 pounds (17th)
    • Arm: 31 1/2 inches (5th)
    • Vertical: 38.5 inches (99th)
    • Broad jump: 121 inches (97th)
    • Bench: 34 reps (91st)
    • 40-yard: 4.62 seconds (99th)
    • Short shuttle: 4.25 seconds (97th)
    • Three-cone: 6.87 seconds (100th)
Among all 280-plus-pound defensive linemen at the NFL scouting combine in the past 20 years, Williams' 40-yard dash and three-cone times would rank as the best on record and his vertical would rank second-best. A year ago, Williams wasn’t even in the draft conversation. After the 2020 season, it looked like he could be a good pick in the middle of Day 3. Now, he could be the second interior defensive linemen off the board in the late second or early third round. It’s safe to buy into the hype with Williams.

    Demetric Felton 3rd-5th round.

The titans have met with him a couple times as well. He could be a big slot WR steal for us if we land him in that range.

from a Round 5 to 7 perspective: Elijah Blades - A&M.. 6'2, CB. ran 4.42 during a 40 contest (I never trust WF's 40 time projections. They're either way wrong, or about where everyone WOULD guess) -- very under the radar DB.

Looks like he was used as more of a RB but seems to have great field vision. Not sure Daryngron Evans isn’t too much of a similar player.

That 3 cone at his size is nuts....find it hard to believe that he is quicker than most CBs and WRs...sounds like he won’t be a late rnd pick.

Latest CBS mock has him going 102 to the 9ers. After our first 4 picks.

PFNs latest 3 round mock doesn’t even have him selected in the first 3 rounds.

Shi Smith, WR, South Carolina. - Can probably get him in the 5th. Would be a great slot WR for us.

Tedarrell Slaton, DT, Florida - 6'5 340. If we stick with 3-4, he could play nose in our base D.

Tony Poljan - TE, Virginia - 6'7, 265. A huge dude that is really underrated in this draft.

    Michael Menet, C, PSU

That's my dude right there. Straight up the best tackle no one wants to talk about. They completely forgot about him and that bodes well for us if we can get him in late 3rd or 4th
