I'd give Evans at least a .5, if not a full 1.0. He's a solid overall starter and he's a beast against the run. Your traditional thumper LB.

 

I did something a little similar a few weeks back. I didn't give each pick a numerical grade, I just basically went hit or miss. From 2016-2019, I believe J-Rob had about a 70% hit rate among all his picks. The only teams above .500 with higher hit rate was I believe Pitt, Green Bay, and Buffalo

I think the Austin Johnson one deserves a larger hit.. That range in the 2nd round, you're looking for more than just a consistent role player - you need an impact player of some magnitude - Austin Johnson never was any part of that.

Notable names drafted after him (skipping DH) that could have had larger impact on the team --- Michael Thomas, Jarran Reed, Deion Jones.

 

Makes the pick for Corey Davis even more painful, since we could've got Godwin and Golladay in the later rounds. But I'm sure if they were a Titan, they wouldn't be as good as they've been.

 

Looking at that 2016 draft and it was rough for a lot of teams. Those literally have to be the worst second round picks ever drafted.
