Sad but true! We just have to hope they come up with some key stops and Henry and the offense keep rolling!

Here are facts ... Yards, no matter how you spin it don’t win games. Period. Points do.

Titans average 30ppg. Only the Chiefs are better at 31ppg.

Titans D. 25.8ppg.

Is the defense historically bad on 3rd down. Yep! They suck. They don’t blitz near enough IMHO.

The Titans beat defense is their offense. They gifted the game to the Browns, The browns aren’t special and you will see that. But turnovers and blocked punts put the Titans in a hole. The opinion that the Browns took their foot off the gas is total BS. The Titans came out in the 2nd half and made it close. The Browns were forced to continue to play. The Humphries drop/interception killed that game or the Titans may come all the way back and win.

Right now the Browns appear to be the most likely opponent in the first round, if they don’t turn it over and get punts blocked the Titans offense can continue to save the defense,

I do however doubt they can ride the offense to the Super Bowl. But I’m going to watch and enjoy this run.

I'll just say that I think that the Titans are trending much more historically on offense than the chiefs are.
The Titans offense right now is an unstoppable machine.
all you have to do is play your best when the games are on the line in the playoffs to make a super bowl run.

also I think that the Titans players are some of the clutches players I've seen on any team in a while.
AJ Brown Corey Davis Jonnu Smith and Derrick Henry and tannehill are some of the clutchest players I have seen.
of course all roads to the super bowl are going to lead through Kansas City.
and I'll be waiting with my popcorn in hand to watch that game when we reach the AFC championship game against them.
I'm also more nervous about playing Cleveland than I would be about playing the Steelers.
I think Cleveland is a far better team than the Steelers are.
but again the Titans just seem like that whenever they want to play they play and nobody can stop them.
when they played that second game against Indianapolis it wasn't even close we manhandled them.

 

Maybe Santa will bring us a pass rush before the 27th.

The defense is bad and is this teams biggest threat to a championship, something you completely agree with me on it seems. I've consistently said the offense is the teams greatest asset and the reason why they are having a good season. Yet I am the "loser" for pointing out this defense is a liability?

Maybe we get all of the secondary back in place and we run a different defense than teams have seen and it’s an advantage. I dunno .. I’m hoping we blitz more with the DBs. Byard maybe is about to get his **** together if he is free to not worrying about coverage so much, which is what I think has made it look like he has had a bad year. He has been playing out of position. They just have to bend but not break. That’s it.

No.. I am pretty sure I know more than that. It’s just silly to write things about past teams and say this or that will happen because this or that happened in past years with NONE of those players or Coaches on this team. Vrabel has done a great job. Does he make mistakes, yes. Is the defense bad, yes. I’m not spinning anything. I’m directly attacking your opinion. Dispute mine or dispute my facts, I ain’t skeert.
