I think 2003 was the worst draft to date. JMO

I get your logic here, and would like to agree. But we are without our top 2 LTs and our top CB. We most certainly do need our 1st round OT and 2nd round CB.

Agree and that's the exact scenario that forced Nate Davis into the lineup last year.

I'm glad to see so many unsung players stepping up to the plate even if it's just for one game.
-Brewer stepped in and played well.
-Sambrailo played well until he got hurt.
-Kelley was expected (by this forum) to have been a big step down from Conklin, until Wilson was ready.
-That P Allen played well in his one game.
-Batson stepped up pretty good with low expectations to begin the season.
-I think CD is actually playing better than he had.
-Underwhelming performance from Beasley/Clowney has some other guys filling in ok.

So True. Theres others too. I was impressed with Ques this week, but will be interesting to see him against a DL that's not missing its star. Borders, mcnichols/foreman, Compton have all been pleasant surprises. And the King trade has worked out well.

Good post, it will be interesting. IMO a championship team must have depth....we have all our star players in, because we have 2 top end Linemen out, and a couple out on D, that's not an excuse to drop football games. Remember this post, our OL is as good, or even better than the beginning of the season. Our D is better without Clowney and Beasley. The Titans OL, and DL will dominate Cleveland on Sunday, and show who's a pretender, or a true contender. If we lose on Sunday, we're not for real....those rookies would not make a difference, to changing that fact. Lets see, its a big test on Sunday....if the titans are for real, Sunday's match is a cakewalk. And I believe we come on top with a big score and statement.

The team lost yesterday and are in danger of missing the playoffs. Are we allowed to criticize, and stop making excuses for, the poor performance of the rookie class now?

It is also time to stop pretending we do not need these rookies simply because we have a winning record. We have two LT on IR right now and a capable LT playing RT. If only our bust of a first round pick could play,

We need this guy and he is MIA.
