Will the national media admit they were wrong?

I will also say that I don’t give a sh** about the media, I just want to keep winning games. I will say it’s nice though to hear them talk about us. I couldn’t stand Colin Cowherd for the most part but I think he had the best take of them all. I don’t know if anyone saw but he blamed himself for the way he thought about Tannehill and said everyone needs to reset on how they think of the Titans including himself. That was nice to hear but just keep winning. The winning does all the Talking.

In general I agree with you regarding the titans just continuing to win but even shows that should have no bias towards any team are generally ruined garbage today.
I want to see a throwback version of Sportscenter, nfl gamday (or whatever the NFL network show is), or other “highlight” shows.
These shows became famous by showing every game’s highlights, fairly equally, pending how a specific game rolled out. Sportscenter WAS the staple for shutting up with opinions, talking points, etc about anything but now wont even show highlights for every game after a Sunday filled.
They have about 12-15 hours EVERY day for the talking heads between 8am - 10(ish)pm until the endless repeat of highlights.

This is partly to do with “personalities” that can’t just shut up and except their role. (nfl network has those guys just talking over each other, awful). And partly to do with what this thread is all about, the biased coverage.
We can have a 14 game lineup on Sunday, get highlights for about 30 minutes covering 2 games, and another bunch of idiots talking about “is Brady done?”, “is Brady better than manning?”, and still squeeze in 20 minutes of “lebron vs Jordan” every day. That leaves a 1 play highlight with the score in the corner for about 8 games and a summary screen of no highlights but scores of 4 other games.

It’s a terrible format that caters to only large fan bases and almost all other formats have taken the same formula.
Honest, the best place for a highlight reel of any given game is YouTube. They’re way too long (10-12 min per game) but there is no “host” to say anything. Just the highlights.

I agree with you on the highlights and I use YouTube all the time, love it. That’s why I don’t bother with the media, they will never change but If we keep winning and make it to the big game, they will have to talk about us for 2 weeks and I will absolutely love it!!!!! Ha! :). It’s not worth getting frustrated by these idiots. There is also the opposite affect as well.... I live in NY , all I hear is about how bad the Jets are and it’s non stop. At least when we lose they don’t constantly talk about us then. Just my thoughts.

    Thought he talked about Henry?
Henry had a decent game, unfortunately the lead Pit had prevented more dedication.
Plus, he can watch that goal line tackle over and over, I only remember the defender leaving the field injured.

I really don't think the Titans care about the media, nor do I. We never have won a superbowl so I dont see us getting any respect until we do. We need to win the division and host a playoff game.

He did - and that "Henry would get smacked in the mouth."

I mean he wasn't far off in the regard of less than 100 yards - but with the offensive hustle having to change due defensive meltdown -- there has to be some leeway given.

And regards to the Spillane tackle -- yup.. That's why you never hit that man up high no matter the situation or you're going to take a helmet in your collarbone..

Looks like they had several injuries yesterday. I would imagine a few are sore today hoping they never play the Titans again.

Ever since news media was privatized, being correct or accurate doesn't matter; only what draws the most viewers. This is why privatizing public services is BAD.

I offer this for a little perspective:

Look, as a THill fan at Miami, I knew how good he was and what Titans were getting, but even the fanbase here was pretty “meh” other than acknowledging they probably had a solid backup.

It took several starts before most here came around to the idea that “hey, we got us a really good QB”. even then, there were many doubters re giving this guy a big contract.

So if so many in Tennessee thought that, it’s only natural the national perspective is going to lag behind somewhat when they don’t pour their morning cereal staring at a Tannehill box.

You see it gaining speed- THill is an irrestible force coming against a movable object of national ignorance. give it a little more time....MVP and Titan talk will be everywhere if we can kick a few FGs.
