It's kinda BS that all these employers are making the employees go to work, but nobody's suppossed to attend a party? If it's alright to work it's alright to do whatever else you want to do.

 

Eh I get the sentiment but I don't share drinks and Juul pods with people at work very often. Our office requires that you wear a mask any time and every time you stand up from your desk if you come in. I'm not sure if this party had the same rules or desks.

 

Plus, I think people are missing the point of it not just yourself that is at risk when you do these things. It’s sort of like a drunk driver, you are putting others at risk not just yourselves. Also, the employers did offer an opt out option.
