I am always curious to see which of the gadget type players will end up working out. Who can be the next Cohen (h/t Omar who called it with him) or Sproles type guy? Same with other positions. Guys like the Honey Badger (people made fun of me for wanting him in the third), Bob Sanders, Nickell Roby Coleman.

The Titans struck gold with a role playing DT in 2011 when they took Karl Klug. Is there another Klug this year?

    Some guys to consider:

JJ Taylor (love the name) RB Arizona - 5'5" 185lbs: Built like a CFL RB. More quick than fast, great 3-cone and shuttle times, slow in the 40; similar to Devin Singletary, only smaller; so he does not have the long-speed of Spoles and Cohen but still could provide a lot of value. At the very least, it would be harder for defenders to spot him :p. @520 do you know anything about him?

Lynn Bowden WR Kentucky - 5'11 200 lbs: An option QB converted to WR, he played the final 8 games of his career at QB even though it would hurt his WR development for the NFL. Took one for the team, gotta like that. Be cool to have a receiver who can throw too; old guys like me will remember the weird plays run with Frank Wycheck throwing the ball.

Adrian Killins Jr RB UCF -- 5'8" 165 lbs: Fast AF but also skinny AF, probably would have been better off at CB. CJ speed without the size, but he is good at things CJ was not like receiving a hits the hole fast with a quick first move, not a lot of dancing around.

Joe Reed WR Virginia -- 6' 225 lbs: Style is a bit like Taylor, and built like AJ Brown; lives off screens and quick passes, route running poor; Unlike Taylor though Reed is great on special teams. He is an amazing kick returner and great covering kicks and punts, which I think makes him worth a 6th (which we do not have RN)

Jason Strowebridge DT UNC -- 6'4" 275 lbs: Some sites listing him as a DE though he is much better inside. Could he be the next Klug?

Raymond Calais RB ULL -- 5'8" 185 lbs: Small and fast RB though he does not have a lot of receptions; He is though a tough runner; He also returns kicks and is a quality gunner on punt coverage.

Jarvis Davis CB Auburn 5'8" 185 lbs: Runt corner, though he does play tough. He is fast, quick, great balls skills, sounds like he could be a late first rounder if he was a couple inches taller.

Any gadget or situational guys you have an eye on in the draft?

Lynn Bowden is the one that interests me out of all of those. The guy is seriously dynamic.

We have Adoree and do nothing with him besides CB stuff. He was great as a gadget guy at USC.

This staff hasnt shown much intrest in gadget guys so far.

Quez watkins or darnell mooney are 2 of my favorite. They would give khalif Raymond some serious competition for the 4th wr/burner/kr/pr role.

We could probably get one on day 3 too.

Antonio Gibson is tops on my list....I don’t see him as a JRob guy because of how few snaps he has under his belt...not a polished route runner and not a true RB...

Jason Huntley RB from New Mexico State averaged 7.1 ypc last yr, caught 40 balls out of the backfield each of the past 3 yrs and has 5 KOR TDs in his career

He was dynamic as a gadget guy as a rookie, but he is too important as a CB.

...but I agree, we seem more interested in competitors and work ethic guys than in versatility.
