Titans place franchise tag on Henry

Damn we've been spoiled with franchise RB's. Hopefully we can get Henry long term. I can't see anyone other than Henry running the ball for us for the next 3 years. Just fun as hell to watch.

 

I've enjoyed watching those 3...and hoping to continue to see Henry as a Titan

Frankly, the Titans should learn from their past mistakes.

 

Derrick Henry is both Eddie and CJ combined. I like his chances to live up to the hype

 

The guy ran for 180+ three games in a row. That’s ridiculous....He’s got the goods and he’s a baller. H e wants to be great and he wants to be a Titan. I love it!

 

I loved watching Eddie..the reason I became a Titan fan...who cares about his ypc..the team ran him into the ground..he was a beast

CJ had some awesome runs, for the time he was a Titan he was fun to watch

Henry is a beast..those runs and stiff arms, things of beauty..hope he remains a Titan

 

Yes. Yes they did. We're going to do the same thing to Henry, which is exactly why we shouldn't give him a long-term deal.

His future contract is compensation for his production moving forward, not what he did late in 2018 and 2019.

Learn from the past.

 

Which is why all contracts should be a base salary with incentives..none of these huge deals before they prove a damn thing...play well get paid well

 

I'd be down for paying him by the yard.

 

that is great for ownership and fans...but not for players. Won’t ever happen.
