Every team has a large segment of fairweather fans. That's not really the whole issue here.

Those are all longstanding franchises with decades upon decades of history. It's different than a new team in a new market. In 50 years the Titans too will likely have that kind of "rain or shine" diehard fanbase. It takes time to build that though. Especially when you've been mostly bad. With the Titans, here we've been "treated" with a couple remarkable seasons right out the gate then mostly misery ever since.

That's a fair point about being a tourist destination. I still think the overall problem though has been the overwhelming lack of success since 2004. THREE playoff appearances and ONE division title throughout that time. That's absolutely pathetic and is gonna breed apathy in a newer market. No matter what city you're talking about.

Miami has a similar problem. They’ve been bad-mediocre for years and there are so many snowbird transplants that a the stadium is full of opposing fans... Jets, Patriots, Eagles, etc.

If the Titans can get back to being a consistent winning organization again I think fans will start showing up again. No one wanted to spend their money on a crappy product.

Browns, Bengals, Lions, etc. also have long histories in the same city.

Hard to say no. The last couple years have been a good sign but with this roster, and which appears to be set up to stay intact mostly, fan excitement from the get go should be more promising.

Of course a 2-4 start next year erases all the promise.

it was refreshing having a QB who was professional & seemed to want to be in Tennessee...

BUT T17 is the QB going forward and he seems to be those things as well

MM8 could choose to stay in Tennessee ... but we all know he wont

well.... there IS a sidebar to your point...

the RULES of the PSLs were that NO season tickets could be purchased without a PSL. Titans set aside like 1,000 in the upperdeck corners for SINGLE game purchase. Those were the only tickets available to not PSL owners for like the first decade or so. Then Titans changed the PSL rules themselves selling PSL designated tickets to the general public. So unless a local had a legacy PSL it would be full on stupid to buy one... just purchase a package wherever you want for the games you want... sorta like PSLs were a nuisance to the front office. They certainly act that way. Seemingly desiring to drive the long time fan away with every short sited decision they make.

I have had my PSL for sale for years. No inquiries because it is worthless.

I still dont know if I would actually sell if I received a legit offer, but I will never get a legit offer so the world will never know.

that was the long version of the FO choose this stadium environment. I say the deep PO run will delay if not temporarily reverse PSL flight. But long term the flight will continue because half the games are downright zero fun for the home team fan... and the problem gets worse every time that toxic environment of stupid yanquees invade Nissan stadium
