Yep, you are correct, it has never been done for a QB to throw that many TDs with 401 or fewer pass attempts and 3,127 or fewer yards.

1) Jackson (2019)
2) Johnny Unitas (1959), 193/367 for 2,899 and 32 TDs
3) Joe Montana (1987), 266/398 3,054 and 31 TDs
4) John Brodie (1965), 242/391 for 3,112 and 30 TDs
5) Len Dawson (1964), 199/354 for 2,879 and 30 TDs

Everyone else is 29 or fewr TDs.

 

You cannot underestimate that the Titans have the 21st ranked defense!! You can as they say, put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig. The fact is the Ravens will be able I believe to run and throw on the Titans with little difficulty. Not being cocky, the Ravens have done this to everyone this year. Saturday night will be no exception. The Ravens have done the following since all we do is blow out teams with a '******' defense.

24 points on the Bills - 3rd ranked defense
37 points on the Patriots - 1st ranked defense
20 points on the 49ers - 2nd ranked defense
26 & 28 points on the Steelers - 5th ranked defense
42 points on the Jets - 7th ranked defense

You obviously don't watch the Ravens much if at all this year. But you will see what everybody else witnessed regarding our offense in 48 short hours.

 

The Ravens run 'D' was ranked #5 overall this year. How is that being overrated? You mention eat ip clock as the way to beat us, nobody does this better than the Ravens. Sorry, I just don't see the Titans grinding out long sustained drives on Baltimore. The Ravens will commit however many defenders in the box to at least slow Henry down a bit. The Ravens will have the luxury of doing this because they have two all-pro corners who can handle any WR one-on-one.

Preventing teams from scoring is not lipstick on a pig. Points are the point of the game, not yards ... and we dont give them up.

Case in point of why measuring defenses by yards isnt important ... you count Jets as a quality win because their D gives up not many yards, but plenty of points.

When you say move the ball ... I agree, Ravens will get some yards. Points won't be as fast and furious as they are against trash defenses, though.

I've watched 9 of the Ravens games. Including all the games vs top 12 scoring defenses ... when the Ravens starters averaged a 5 point win.
