Did you read what I said? Henry is the better back but the shorter wider frame is a advantage...

If Lamar passes 30 times, Ravens are 3-2. If Lamar passes less than 30 times, ravens are 11-0.

Against top 12 scoring defenses, Ravens are 5-1. Against other defenses, Ravens are 9-1.

However, the scoring differential in those games ...

vs Top 12 scoring defenses: 7 points ... 5 points, if you don't count Week 17 (when the real Ravens didn't play)

    vs other defenses: 21 points

Ravens average # of plays on a scoring drive: 8 plays

Ravens average # of plays on non-scoring drive: 4.5

Titans average # of plays on defensive drives: 5.7, allowing scores on 33% of our drives, that is 6th in the league

People don't give us a chance, because they sleep on our defense. Not just bending and not breaking by forcing FGs, like it used to be. 2 out of every 3 defensive possessions end in something other than an offensive score, that is 6th best in the league.

All the analysts look at the fact we are 20th defense in yards allowed and says "Oh, they suck." Would you rather you team have yards or points? Because I'll give Lamar 1,000 rush yards in this game, as long as we score 1 more point than they do. Then, they follow that up with "Lamar is great, he will eat them alive." Ok, who the hell has he faced? Because when he faces a team that is going to make him pass the ball, he is a .500 QB ... when he faces a defense that doesn't give up easy scores, the game is decided by 1 score.

Lamar has great stats in blowout wins against sh*tty defenses. I got news for ya, he ain't facing a sh*tty defense on Saturday. It's the same thing I said last week about Pats defense. Everyone was scared of the #1 defense and #6 rush defense ... but who had they played? They played 3 good offenses all year and was 0-3 in those games.

This is the same thing on the other side of the ball. They the best offense ... against who? When they play a defense that puts Lamar in the pocket, they are 3-2 ... basically, a .500 team. When they play a good scoring defense, the difference in the score drops from a +21 point win for the Ravens to a +5 point win for the Ravens.

The Titans aren't good enough to win a 1-possession game vs a .500 team? I beg to differ. [IMG] Titans 31-17 victory. [IMG]

Some of what you’re talking about I eluded to (or also flat out said) regarding his abilities to pass.

    1 (one) 300 yard game.
Of 36 passing TD, 8 came over those 5 games you mentioned where he threw 30+ att.

The Ravens have taken advantage of what teams are supposed to do and got lucky more often than not in situations that could go 50/50. I’m referring to the moments in games that are lucky bounces, freak plays, etc that each week play a big difference in the outcome.
Every year this happens to top teams and that’s partly what makes them a top team.

The TD% throwing by Jackson is far passed the average of even the best QB. 400 att, 3100, but 36 TD.

Going throughout the history of the game, I’d say that it’s possible no QB has ever thrown so many TD on that few att/yds.
That’s is completely unsustainable and will at one point start to average out. I’m hoping it starts this week.

I think the Ravens run d is being overrated. Guys like Mixon and even Bell have had success against them and they have worse lines than us. The main thing is that teams are forced to abandon the run when they fall behind early. There’s a way we win and it comes with being able to run the ball, eat clock and keep Lamar on the sidelines.
