I like the patriots matchup better than the chiefs if we have to be without adoree. He is really the only guy that has the speed to keep up with the faster deep threat guys. We saw Ryan get exposed vs Stills and Fuller against Texans.

Luckily the Pats don’t really have a WR like that to worry about. I think we can cover Edelman with the guys we have. Although having adoree back, even if he is on a pitch count, would be a boost.

Doesn’t mean Brady and Co won’t be hard to beat. It’s Brady and Belichick in Foxoboro after all, that’s no walk in the park.

I think a lot of you guys are giving the "Brady and Belichick" thing just a bit too much credit right now.

Yes, they are both probably GOAT in their jobs, but this isn't the Brady of the past. He looks to be declining like Manning and Favre did towards the end.

And yes, Belichick is a mastermind, but he's shown some dents in the armor this year as well.

Lastly, who does Brady have to throw it to. Right now Edelman is duct-taped together probably more than any other player in the game currently. Who knows if he will even last through a game.

Do I think we blow them away? No. Am I worried about the B&B factor in Foxboro, nope.

 

It also really helps us that they wont have a bye week to rest and regroup like 2 years ago when they walloped us out of the playoffs...

 

It's been about 10 years since the Patriots didn't have a 1st Round BYE.

 

Even better for us is that it's a short week for them since the game is on Saturday instead of Sunday.
