Kicking Game Issues

The only thing I can come up with as to why Succop hasnt been cut is his salary. Hed account for $2M in dead money at a time we cant afford to be wasting money. We need all of our cap for all these upcoming FA's.

So if youre JR youre thinking, "Im gonna lose $2M cutting Succop, then lose another $2M signing a new guy".

I mean to me its worth it when you have a guy costing you W's

Almost everything about that screams Titans FO.

Only a moron would allow $2 mil cost wins in preparation for next season when they could be hoisting a Lombardi this season if not for a kicker.

 

It's obvious he's not healthy, why can't we just IR him?

 

The kicking woes literally cost us 3 games so far this year (bills, colts, and yesterday) granted yesterday my not have been a certain win but how do you keep this scrub Succop on the team now with 2 critical games coming up that he may have a hand in F’ing up ? Just pure stupidity at this point...

 

I’m fairly sure we’ve just been resting Pamphile all season in preparation for the season finale. Literally NO other explanation could be given for keeping him on the 53 man roster this long.

 

IR him and sign Parkey. Parkey was 3 for 3 for us.

 

This blows my mind too. I actually know mike weaver that kicked at wake forest 2 years ago and he has a video on YouTube hitting 60 yard fgs with his right and 50 yarders with his left. He only got calls from arena fb teams and that league that let the fans pick the plays (i forget the name). He actually played the whole season and did pretty well in the 2nd one. But, there's literally 100s of guys that can do this. Hell i coach d1 youth soccer right now and almost all 18 of my players can hit from 45, 2 can hit from 50 and theses guys are 16. Why don't they actually look for kickers. It's a good ole boys club or something.
