Keenum wasn't that good in 17 and hasn't been that bad since then. His QB rating this year wasn't far from what it was in Minnesota. The team just sucks and was giving up 30 PPG in his first four games and the others were against SF and Minnesota, so they lost.

Keenum was not good last year in Denver, I agree the team was worse all around.
He wasn’t good this year in Washington to the point he hasn’t played seen getting injured in week 8. Have no idea if he’s healthy, they’re riding with the rookie, Haskins.

Keenum has 6 teams under his belt in 9 years. No team has wanted to keep him, even Minnesota.

The comparison of Keenum to THill is just not there and I’ve seen it brought up twice this thread.

Either Ryan Tannehill has transformed at age 31 into one of the best QBs ever, or what the Titans are currently doing is a statistical fluke that will certainly regress to the mean.

I will fully admit to not thinking tanny would be the answer....but we are finally seeing what I thought Titans football could be.....we appear to finally have the combination of great running game, a qb that makes all the throws, and receivers, (AJ, and crew, a committee of te’s, and other wr’s) that force d’s to pick their poison...so to speak....play it straight and BDH will take away your d’s manhood, play 8 in the box and it’s either play action or AJ running wild in over matched secondaries. It’s fun to watch

Is anyone at this point arguing that this type of production won’t tail off at some point?

    The question is how much?
This offense has plenty of room to regress towards the mean and still be very potent. That’s why THill and Henry need deals.

4K, 25 total TDs, 64% comp. 10 or less TO.

That’d be awesome as a repeat. It’ll probably be around #10 in the NFL.

Oh and leading to a winning record. I don’t put W/L on the QB, but if he’s not costing games, he’s helping.

You should definitely put wins on the QB, he touches the ball every play.

Nah. Bad QBs get wins all the time. If I put w/l on anything less than an entire team, it’s a defense.

Need we go into this w/l record of a guy like VY?

Defense is easy in sports, its getting the right collection of guys on offense that's hard. Its much easier to stop a player from catching than it is for a player to actually make the catch. Offense takes talent and timing.

Youre talking about something else than me at this point if we're talking about steps to build a team.

Youre right about being able to get by with a less than loved QB. But if you allow a bad QB to stay around youre getting fired in the nfl.

    Qb matters
