Titans have never lost in Charlotte, and the away team is 4-1 all time in the series. Let's keep that tradition rolling.

 

Any word on Succop this week?

 

Vrabel said that he is going to practice today, and a decision will be made. Asked if we may carry Succop as the placekicker and have Cody or Kern kickoff, he said that is one of many possibilities that are being considered based on practice.

 

Practicing. Vrabel just basically answered "will he play?" with... "that's why hes practicing" so well see. lol

 

Any word on Saffold status??? The Panthers are near the tops in the league in sacks and we are near the top in giving up sacks......not a good combination for offensive success.....if we have to start Douglas and Davis we are in trouble

 

Last I heard (Monday) Saffold was in concussion protocols.
Don't see him listed on any injury reports today.

 

If we are able to burn them on a couple blitz attempts with Tannehill dropping it off or finding Hump on a slant, we will be fine. The scary thing is if we get ourselves in those 3rd and longs and aren't able to read the blitz pre-snap. Carolina's pass rush is near the top, but it's also on fire or kind of cold ... it is going to give you a 1 or 2 sack game, or they are going to give you a 7 or 8 sack game. Hopefully we don't let it snowball.

The good thing is that they are more inconsistent on 3rd down that we are, as a team. They have only converted 31.5% of their 3rd downs on offense, and they have allowed 42.1% 3rd down conversions on their defense. We are 33.3% on offense and only allowing 33.3% conversions on our defense, as well.

 

Just read Davenport saying he was at individual drills today.
