Mariota could change the play more to his liking if he had two HBs and a FB in the backfield and two TEs on the line of scrimmage. I hope Amy is listening. Give the fans confidence in your offense's ability to sustain drives. Pleeease????

Tell me about all the changes a QB can make to a designed play when you have four or five receivers on the line of scrimmage? You can pretty much rule out ALL running plays, not gonna happen. It's an advertised pass and the QB and OL are at an immediate disadvantage. Oh no, where's the grease gun, right?

Here comes the blitz! The onslaught! Try to throw off your right foot being off balance to your left, my man. Try to throw off your left foot being off balance to your right, fool. Now try to throw with your left hand in the face mask of a helmet with an arm up your crxtch, my good fello. Try to find an open target while running for your life and falling back off your right ankle, lol guy. Oh you better not bloop one out there, hog. Oh you better not let big bubba sack you, tromper room. Oh you better not throw an interception, slick jack. Oh you better not get hit too hard that you fumble the ball, bruise boo. Oh you better keep that drive alive, bran flake. Sounds like the DEVIL because it is the DEVIL! Mariota's in hxll!

A four or five receiver set is no doubt a laughable offensive formation if there ever was one. Yeah and no doubt Mariota is paid to be some sort of idiot magician in a circus act.

The defense is saying, it's a pass! It's a pass! Hooray, hooray! DBs are swarming all over the field rendering many receivers out of the play, no one is open. Why don't you try to force something, Marcus? Why don't you up the number of your INTs, MM? Why not up your incompletion pct and that wonderful pct in not finding a needle in a haystack, M&M? Why don't you lower your QB rating, Mary? Why don't you make yourself a 2nd string QB? Why don't you mess up any chance of signing a long term contract? Better yet, why don't you sit in free agency for a decade with no takers? You're in the big leagues now, you b in da NFL going up against drr best. Why aren't you performing there draft pick?

With a suitable offensive scheme Mariota would have performed exceptionally well because he is no doubt a franchise QB. He scored TDs, had big passing/rushing yards in college and should be doing that here. Unless he's shooting up with heroin I doubt very much that he is regressing.

So Amy, are you listening or did you sell out?

Titans had winning record under Mariota in 2016, 2017 and 2018. You don't bench a guy like that, lol. Maybe if he goes 7 games below ,500 you might give him a week off. What? At just 1 game below 500 and then announce someone else your starting QB? Especially someone with a track record of losing seasons, who would do that? What did Mariota do to deserve this, hang Vrabel's jock strap up on the goal post? I hope Vrabel doesn't drag Mariota back out there to try and save the season and his job because Mariota might just do it.

Which brings me to my 2nd point. I remember as a kid getting all excited about offensive formations so I decided to jot down the main theme of each team. I started with the Houston Oilers. Right off the bat, I scratched my scalp and thought to myself, there's no HBs. I soon realized they were the only team in the NFL that had that style of offense. I remember their record was among the worst of any team. I thought about that the other day and I had to chuckle. This is the Houston Oilers! Of all the teams out there how could Mariota have ended up in a shoot from the hip, ask questions later offense like this? It's hilariously funny because Mariota is not that type of QB. OMG still laughing.

You see, the Oilers became the Titans but one thing did not change and that is their style of offense. This revelation changes everything. With Tannehill though, it does have its advantages.

My third thought is the Titans need to do the right thing and trade Mariota. Don't keep him as a backup in this Oiler offensive scheme. Where's Gabbert when you need him?
