False. Just checked the film.

Mariota was stopped on 7 of 162 lifetime QB sneaks dating back to 6th grade, the farthest his mom's VHS tapes went back.

 

Those are some low carry numbers too.

I bet their higher scoring offense has something to do with teams passing more as well.

 

What about McCaffery going 38 for 68? I know a few posters on here who would lose their minds if Henry had numbers like that.

 

Never heard of such a disparity in defense. They must be stacking 11 in the box on every play haha.

 

That’s 2 games for mcaffery but they’re d has also given up 30+ points 5/6 games.
Gurley didn’t get carries in an absolute shoot out (55-40 TB win) and I think the Giants (32-31 NYG) was the rookie QB 17 point comeback.

Not saying they aren’t good just not every team had the opportunity to really make running the ball a point.

 

I hadn't paid attention to the Bucs, did not realize they were the #1 rush D in the league ... could be an interesting battle to establish Henry Sunday.

 

Part of why they are 1 in run D is they are terrible against the pass 2nd worst. With tanny we should be able to have a big game passing if our oline can block their d-line and give him time to thread the needle. I look for davis and brown to have big days sunday
