There are so many formations, so many different plays, so many blocking strategies and yet I feel the offense is not fooling anyone.

It makes me wonder if Vrabel and Smith are milking the organization and skating thru their contracts. They seem to be putting their burdens on the QB as if he were some sort of scapegoat.

I believe this duo has made the OL look terrible. Defenses seem to know this offense like a book even to the point where it can't move the ball.

I know that both Vrabel and Smith are greenhorns but it may take decades or an eternity for them to learn how this game should be played. Too much inexperience and it shows.

Why not look at veteran coaches who are experienced play callers?

@TitanJeff can you move last couple post to the MM8 thread. This is to vent about team in general but last couple pages have turned in a straight MM8 argument topic.

Not a single throw over 20 yards in the air for Tannehill. But you can’t stretch the field that way am I right?

    PeRsPeCtIvE or something like that...

Did you happen to watch the game today? He had velocity on the ball we've basically never seen from DuckBoi. I don't even really like Tannehill, I'm just glad to see our team have a QB who can complete simple passes because it has been so long since we have seen that. By the way while I've got you, **** Marcus Mariota and the five years he stole from all of us. At least Locker had the decency to go away and never come back after 4 years. **** Marcus Mariota.

You clearly don’t understand what you were responding to.

To simplify for you I’m praising Tannehill for his play today and simply showing another poster you don’t have to throw downfield to stretch the field.

Good for you though. Good post.

YEP. 100% mea culpa, entirely misread there, no doubt about it. But. While I've got you, **** Marcus Mariota and anyone who ever wanted to draft him.

And I followed that up by saying there are multiple ways to “stretch the field”. Look around the NFL happens every week.

    Perspective.

Sure there are.. but acting like that was some major Mary ‘stat’ is disingenuous.

Mary STRETCHED the field” while the Rb or WR runs for 3/4 of the yards is a completely asinine way to attribute his contribution to the play.

You might as well say Art stretched the field.

Any historians here remember that time Mary stretched the field by Spiking it on 3rd and 2?
