Tannehill is a lateral move, not an upgrade. I don't see the Titans getting more than 7 wins this season, if they even get that many. That's certainly not an upgrade.

The FO needs to stop employing "dual-threat" QBs. Trying to revive the Mac9 glory days won't work in today's NFL, the last 15+ years have proven that beyond a doubt.

 

Tanny might be a little better, but just like Marcus, he ll have some good games than come back and be really horrible.

 

It's pretty normal though. Not nearly as Jekyll and Hyde as Mariota. He's put together strings of wins and good games before.

 

Not really. He plays alot like Marcus. You see this great throws, than he stinks it up with a very dumb throw.

I still like the move, he is going to take chances unlike Marcus.

 

Hes also going to make passes Mary simply can not.

Which will unfortunately result in some mistakes. But Ill take an interception over the QB not being able to throw successful 7-yard passes. Mary is just busted right now.

 

Marcus really doesn't play like that. He plays not to lose. At his peak in 2016, he was comparable to Tannehill. But that would be a big improvement over what he's shown in recent years.

 

This particular stat is an ongoing Titans problem.
Since the move to Tennessee, that season is #2 in yards behind only the longtime Titan favorite Matt Hasselbeck (35something something).

 

I find it hilarious the loud Marcus haters are all talking up Tammy like he's going to save the sinking ship and he's such an upgrade he can overcome inept Vrabel, crap o line play and bad OC art. In fact, yesterday on shout box ABC claimed Tammy has short passing game on the level of Brady? Yes, very delusional.
