No reason he couldn’t have stood there until someone was open. The blocking scheme for the play was literally 5 on 2.

 

Obviously you don't know what "starter" means. Nor do you know what it means when you say "before week 6". But if it makes you feel better about yourself, keep stretching it to make yourself seem right.

Again, you're stretching it dude... If Tanne is the starter next week...then you can say you were close. But this reaching to act like you were right is a bit much. You do this a lot and then parade around like you're always right when you arent.

 

Defenses know his tendencies.

 

Throw it away, check it down, run... literally anything but panic shuffle directly to the one guy within ten yards of you.

 

It was a 3rd and 13 and the only open guy was Humphries who was maybe a yard beyond the LOS.

 

And still all of those options are better than running to a sack.
