I agree. But we’ve had a history of hiring within. We tried Whiz and that was a disaster. We’re trying again to go outside with Vrabel. I can’t argue with that approach. I still like Vrabel- I get what he’s going for w/ the aggressive play calls. Our BIGGEST problem right now is that we have a shell-shocked QB and we have a rookie dud OC with ZERO experience. And it shows.

Our GM was a first hire also. He’s learning. If we ditch- some other team gets the benefit of his average time on the job learning he’s had here. We’re just going to have to stay the course. We don’t have a championship memory to keep the fans believing during the hard times so the fan interest (and lack of) is very understandable albeit detrimental.

 

I really really really hope that Vrabel comes out with a definitive answer at his press conference today as to who will start this week. If he is non-commital then it will only hurt the locker room. He needs to show leadership

Except for pretty much any defensive position, RBs, OL, and TEs, yeah you're right, we don't develop any players....


We've been a **** franchise for WR's for sure. Davis and Brown look like they can be really good, but they won't be anything here unless there is a massive change in philosophy.
