@Ensconatus Are you one of the delusional fans who thinks they could do a better job than the pro’s? I’m all for discussing, but the moment you try to pretend that you could do a better job than anyone in the NFL is the moment you lose any credibility you might have had.

Acting as if scouting/sporting top talent is some mythical unicorn skill is pretty hilarious tho. At the end of the day the things that make the pros better is access to info, medicals, backgrounds, live interviews, live workouts. There’s plenty of folks all over the internet that can spot talent. But that’s not the whole story.

 

I used the rating because it’s as cliche as possible. Acting as if the pros aren’t fallible/questionable is dumb.

Im a big Davis supporter as well, but I dont think hes that elite. He's a good enough player with a better QB - but we have seen plenty of other WRs do good with bunch of nobodies throwing them the ball. The pick was too high for my liking at that time. Marcus never takes risks (especially this year), wich isnt helping Davis. But like everyone else I wanna see what he does with Tannehill at the helm. My guess would be, better but how much better is the question here. I dont see him ever living up to his draft pick.

 

You do realize that majority of these coaches, scouters throughout the league were blessed to have connections to be on those positions? Id say 90% of coaches throughtout the NFL are a crapshoot. And probably 95% of scouting departments and NFL GMs are bunch of idiots
