Mariota 2019 (all tings Mariota)

Yeah. It really is a shame man, but we can’t keep trying to force a square peg into a round hole.

 

Probably just has to do with the fact that Mariota is a nice guy and everyone likes him. I'm sure frustration is being expressed plenty behind closed doors. Also, it's only week 3. If (/when) this keeps up I'm sure we're gonna start hearing things publicly.

 

I think it is getting really close though. After seeing Davis so pissed and yelling after that play that Mariota missed, I think he is about done with playing nice.

I also think that is something Mariota has missed his entire career here. If we had an established WR or two that was getting on his A$$ when he missed them, he probably would be better. Instead, he screws up and then blames the receivers and they really can't say anything.

 

Nobody is open.

 

Shesh. With any funcational QB that is a easy TD.

 

Thats a credit to the coaching staff. You can tell by Walkers interviews that he isnt really happy the last two weeks.

 

The “10 yards over his head” comment is way off.
It was thrown to the wrong shoulder (and by a good margin) but the ball lands almost 2 yards in front of where he is.

Left to right is was not accurate. Distance as far as in stride was almost dead on.

The real problem is neither are good. I’m just more critiquing the person criticizing the throw. I don’t think he described it well.

 

Watching the Ravens game... Lamar Jackson is everything that Mariota could have been

 

The KC defense is trash.
Jackson still through 22/43. Just over 50%. Good job.
Lamar Jackson is who most think he is, a RB playing QB.


Let’s also not immediately compare to MM. I know that’s what’s coming but I think based on the poll of the other thread, it’s generally understood he’s trash and needs to go. That doesn’t make Jackson good.

 

Year 1 - good signs as a rookie. Things look promising
Year 2 - steps up, looks like we've found our guy - could do with fixing up the fumbles though.
Year 3 - I start getting into the NFL and become a Titans fan. Injuries. Poor year. Mularkey/Robiskie suck and MM is hamstrung by them coaching in the 80's
Year 4 - New coach, new OC. More injuries. Poor year. No TD's.
Year 5 - sigh.

Basically, its my fault. Things went downhill as soon as I became a fan.
