I mean they already adjusted... look how many pass plays are designed for at or behind the LOS.

The offense you see, is centered around what this pitiful QB can and can’t do.

 

If that is your stance, then our coaching staff sucks. They know Mariota is terrible, so change your offense!

 

At some point you have to look solely on Mariota. We’ve had a train full of coordinators, coaches, added players, etc to try and get him to sustain drives and be more consistent. He still can’t push the ball downfield unless a guy is wide open and even then he has trouble. How do you place blame on 5 years worth of repeated troubles on coaching, other than benching him and putting the better guy in? If there’s one area I’ll agree with, it’s that. He should have been sat a long time ago and put a dude in that lets it rip....

 

Yep, every coordinator comes in with ideas of opening it up and after a few practices are right back to doing what the last guy did.. 2 yard dump offs.

 

Yep. That point came last year. Move on. Tannehill maybe better, but he won’t change the entire offense. Coaches gotta coach.

 

Change it to what, the wishbone?

 

I guess that is the next viable choice?

The offensive line sucks. The QB sucks. We don’t know what the WRs are because of the aforementioned positions.

I thought the coaches did a great job of managing the QB situation last year. I’m all for letting the kid sink in a normal offense this season. Let it be.
