The biggest problem with the Titans offensive line

The sack total is deceiving. It's actually a result of what we've been told- when the running game isn't working, we need to pass more and put up points, he can't do it. We allowed 1 sack in the first half, but scored 0 points. Eventually, we had to play with more urgency and push the ball down the field because we fell behind, and the opposing DC had a field day calling blitzes, stunts, etc. It's exactly like the Baltimore game last year. We did that to Cleveland when they fell behind and forced them into a ton of mistakes.

 

Is really hard to believe but I miss Kline yesterday that was the worst guard play I have ever seen in the NFL.

 

I think I saw someone blame Humphries for being short on a couple of those.

 

As an NFL QB, you have to hit open receivers. You also have to be able to throw them open, and let your receivers go up and get it. Mariota does absolutely none of those things well. He is too cautious in the pocket and has bad vision downfield. It’s obvious as the day is light....

 

He's lost all of it. Confidence all gone, whether it was the revolving door of coaches yearly or injuries I don't know. Maybe a change of scenery will help but we need a new starter next season.

 

Yeah I couldn’t agree more. He’s done here at least. At this point, I’d put in Tannehill and hope to create some chemistry. Hell, I’d even try to deal Mariota before he hits the open market.

 

I'm more down for Woodside kid. Let's see what he has and if we keep losing it will help the draft cause and that is what is best for next season
