J-Rob has been decent around most of the ball, position wise, but has been epically bad at the QB position both QB1 and QB2. MM8 is and has been an absolute dumpster fire of a QB for 4 going on 5 years now. Knowing his proneness to injury, we have still notoriously had garbage QB2’s. Finally they bring in, and pay heftily, a QB2 that is arguably a QB1 and after losing two straight division games that we should have both handily won, MM8 is apparently still our guy. If J-Rob is that committed to MM8, for God knows what reason, I’m done with him. If MM8 is signed again after this season, I’m selling my tickets for good. We have too much talent on this team to be wasted because front office is obsessed with the fact that MM8 is a good guy. We get it, we all know he’s a good dude. But that doesn’t win football games. J-Rob, get your **** together, get MM8 the hell out of here, and let’s win some damn football games!

No we do not have “too much talent on this team”.

I still give JRob benefit of the doubt.
I think he’s done ok (not great) in the draft, couple finds, couple duds especially 2 round.

The MM is a major problem but I think some of that is out of his hands. Less than 2 years ago, he was a fan favorite and due to injuries (vice gameplay) he’s continued to get opportunities. I don’t think JRob or even Vrabel really want to keep playing him but ownership probably does. 2 reasons I see:
    1. Poster boy for attitude, interviews, off field anything
    2. The brief flashes we’ve seen in previous years. Enough time to want to ensure that version isn’t coming out anytime soon.

Saffold is looking bust, but it was a needed position and ranked highly in the market. That sucks
I can see where Lewis maybe could get used differently (probably with a different QB) but overall, a square peg in a round hole. He just isn’t worth forcing into games here.
Disagree on butler, I think he’s fine and so is Ryan. AJ25 had a good rookie year, fell off the map sense. Pass rush would help all of them.

Pass rush. Wake, that’s it. That still needs addressed. Again 0 sacks last night on a 6th round rookie. The D played well overall, but sacks and pressure make a huge difference.

ST. We make jokes about the $ spent on ST, but the titans have gone from last to first. It’s overlooked in general. Unfortunately, I think we have depth on ST where the actual D and O need those roster spots with real talent.

    Great thread.

Jon Robinson desevers all the blame forcing us to watch an horrible QB that had nothing but regress the last 3 years.

He’s the one fielding the team.

Why isn’t he held responsible for trotting out Mariota as the starting QB?

Y’all wanna blame Marcus, but not the man responsible for acquiring the talent.

He has had 3 off seasons to bring in a QB of his choice.

    Defense has played well.

We need better qb play, some kind of continuity with the OL, and another RB that is 5'9" or taller.
