Breaking News Jalen Ramsey requests trade

My spider senses says something is brewing with the Titans and Jags on a trade. Then again it could be me in the A.M before work and coffee.

 

Miami is going to get the top QB, and we know we are not taking the Oregon QB, so we really just need to make sure we are ahead of the Buccaneers and the Bengals to get who we want in the first round. Denver and Washington should probably take a QB, but they likely won't. Think we'd need to be in the top 10 picks.

 

Tampa has top ten written all over them.

 

I am not sure they would even trade a 7th round pick for Mariota.

 

I don’t think JRob would consider any deal necessary to land Ramsey. He’d have to give up AJ25 most likely and that’d be a lot of pride swallowing. Plus - JRob built the current secondary we have now- not sure he’s willing to upgrade it at any cost.

I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t see it happening. But man- Ramsey back there and then we get Simmons up to speed on the DL? Killer D for sure.

He cut Cyp and Kline after giving them big deals

I agree with you here but I think the biggest issue would be how he would fit into the locker room. Obviously he’s got a good (ish) relationship with Lewan but Ramsey seems like the guy who turns quick when adversity hits.

I’d love to get him. He takes our defense to another level. We’ve never had a shutdown CB. Would be huge when going against the Texans this year.

 

So... Menshew may be about the only QB in the league that Mariota would be better than.

So toss Mariota in with AJ. Maybe give them Sharpe as well. They need help in all those areas.


But yeah, I doubt they let us have Ramsey, despite what they may get in return.
