Sharpe vs AJ. Who should start week 1?

I’d start Brown , I’d even start Taylor over Sharpe . I think Taylor’s gonna redeem himself lol. I hope

 

Put your 2 wr sets into twins on one side. Hump is now In The slot!

 

Not having confidence in and given up on are different. If I gave up on him I’d suggest we cut him. But I wouldn’t start him and I’d make him earn playing time. I was hoping he’d come in this preseason and show the hands he’s been working on. Not where I hoped he’d be. But he has value. That value is diminished when he drops the ball...especially big plays. And that value will be offset by aj’s developement.

If our two most reliable wrs are Davis and Hump now...who gets the 3rd spot in 3 wr sets? It’s a battle between AJ being ready and Taylor being reliable. Both will get chances but Taylor needs to understand AJ will get more just because he’ll get more familiar with experience so TT better make the most of those chances!

 

I would give about the same amount of snaps to sharpe, aj and taylor in the first half unless one of them shows out or looks like trash. Then whoever is playing the best after the first half I'd give the most reps to the hottest player. But, overall i wouldn't let any one of these guys think they have earned that spot and I'd make them fight for it.
