Titans Extend Ben Jones

I'm not sure how I feel about this

On one hand Jones allowed us to beat New England. Then lose to bad teams....

 

Why???

 

I don't know about this? I mean he wasn't good at all last season and I was hoping we find a better upgrade.

Jones good guy to have around. When we upgrade center he moves to guard. Just makes to much sense to keep him around.

 

Ben Jones sucks!! We haven’t had a good center since Mawae! Jones was ok when we first signed him but he’s horrible now!

 

I see it as "just keep ben until we draft a replacenent"

 

What in the ****ing ****? I hate this extension. He was good his first year. He's been a liability since.

"I think first of all that that’s unique. He’s a very instinctive and aware player. He’s a very smart football player and I would say that his number one redeeming quality is his toughness. So, when you combine all those things together, I think you could play multiple positions."

Interesting quotes from Vrabel. Definitely see a move to guard coming at some point.

He's not exactly saying his output forced us to extend him, but pointing to intangibles.
