    Does McNichols play special teams at all? If he can get on the field for special teams that could be bad news for Flu. I think special teams is what's keeping him around.

    Flu needs to show he's healthy. It's my understanding that he bulked to handle some FB duties.

    IMO, it isn't about Flu vs. McNichols but Flu vs. the 4th TE spot.

    I heard on the radio yesterday Flu either had knee surgery or is about to. I think it'll mean he'll be on the PUP though I didn't hear how serious the injury.

    Flu had knee surgery (scope I assume) and is a possible for return for wk 1, but who knows.. He could of had an amputation with how player injury reports come out now.
