McNichols vs. Fluellen

    I'm of the opinion that backups should be younger... I'm not talking 2nd stringers, though.

    3rd back will barely see the field unless they play special teams or Henry/Lewis get hurt.

    That being said, Flu has stuck around this long and has the edge in experience and from what little he's played is decent for a 3rd RB.

    Wouldn't be surprised if he's dumped though.

    It’s possible that the Titans move on from Lewis in 2020. McNichols could be an option to step into that role.

    McNichols would never go to our PS. He was the guy who got salty on Hard Knocks because the Bucs wanted to sign him to the PS. They ended up cutting him because he bailed on them.

    Give McNichols the majority of the carries against the Steelers next Sunday and if he fares well, I would go with him over Flu.

    Let's not pretend Flu has done something to warrant a roster spot.

    Flu is a special teams captain, big hole to fill, somehow dude can’t seem or stay healthy too.

    It is possible they move on for Lewis, especially if they want to re-sign Henry.

    Things are going to start getting tighter with the cap in 2020.

    I think we could keep 4. Flu seems to be bulking and figures to have some kind of FB role along with ST involvement. Admittedly his injury history is a concern.

    I'm not sure I'd be comfortable going into the season with just a banged up Henry and two scat backs (Lewis and McNichols).

    Interesting to see how it plays out. Ill be annoyed if we let McNichols go at this point
