Lewan could be telling the truth. The only way we would know for sure is if we got the test results and found out how much ostarine was in the sample.

That's not saying he isnt just playing PR but there have been multiple examples of the same thing happening in other sports.

Unless your board certified neurologist told you to ingest it, it's bogus. Really.

 

Outside of the US the suspension is 2 years for the first offense and miraculously thousands of athletes avoid “tainted” supplements.
Whenever a football player gets busted for PEDs he blames tainted supplements. Been that way for years. So assuming they’re telling the truth, then you have to be a special level of dumb to not stick to the supplements that have been tested and approved by the NFL and NFLPA (or USADA, WADA or similar).

 

You’re misunderstanding the role of PEDs in sports. PEDs are not used to turn the average joe into a superstar. In sports a 1% increase in strength, speed, duration, etc is a big benefit, so using PEDs to quickly gain 5-10% extra is huge.

 

If this was the same supplement that Clemson used, why would you use it?

 

I don’t think he said same supplement, but it was the same drug they got in trouble for.
