No one is going to talk about average teams...right now we're an average team.

We don't make any big off season splashes, we don't make any blockbuster trades, our drafts are solid lately but picking mid round 1 isn't going to draw much media hype.

The reality is we need to be a consistent playoff team and win a SB and maintain the success to get notice.

 

If we win a Super Bowl it will be considered a fluke.

Unless we compete a few seasons after the fact.

 

just repetitive playoff seasons would do the trick i think

well, you did that one week...remember when we beat the sh1t out of the sqeelers and the national media got it's panties in a wad about LenWhale stomping, deservedly, the terrible towel on the sideline. Don't want your towel stomped...don't bring it into a visiting stadium.

So, who are the other 6 losses to and why shouldn't we ***** about them?

 

As a fan I see a lot of reasons why the first game is a big deal. Does our offense work ? Can we beat the anointed Browns ? Will we finally get pay back for letting Jonnie friggin Football beat us ? No more excuses. Let's light this thing up !

 

I'm getting old and the mind is no longer a steel trap but, don't we always manage to loose our opening game?
