For starters, wouldn’t give that title to anyone with less than 5 years in the league. Flashes in the pan happen and tons of players start a career off great but can’t keep on a HoF pace.

It’s also difficult to label OL as elite or not which is also pretty rare to hear anyway.
    So considering this short list:
I disagree with Jones, Donald (needs more time and consistency), Barkley, Travis kelce at least.
Philly Kelce is OL. Is Mack, Alex?
not sure what Walker is referred. If it’s delanie, easy no. Zeke Elliot?, no.

    Brady is a yes
    Brees is a yes
AB is on the fence for me but probably a yes

Elite should be limited to players considered all time greats.
My issue with describing current players is too many have a good season or two, receive the label, then can’t continue. It waters down the definition and honestly diminishes those that actually are elite players.

Some guys just aren’t tops in the league anymore either, like Adrian Peterson.

Of course this is completely subjective.

I would put Peterson in the class. Amazing he broke 1,000 last year and will still be playing this year.

All this talk about "elite" players, I will just say that no matter what happens, no one can ever say anything about Delanie Walker that would make me think anything other than the guy is a stud. I have watched that man put this team on his back when others weren't putting fourth the required effort to win. All heart, total effort, and look at what he did in his last Pro Bowl game as a f*%^%$g alternate!

All good. Love the guy and he is absolutely a work horse. Wish we could get 10 more years out of him.
    Just not elite.

I love him too, but compare Delanie to the best that ever played the position, and he isn't in the conversation. Delanie is the Eddie George of running backs. Fantastic players, but not elite.

I wish ol' fishface would have not been fired for another week... so he would have solo possession of the most losses ever by a NFL HC

Reeves took 23 years fishface crushed that in only 20 full seasons and 2 partial seasons

fishface had 171 Ls including POs in 350 games. overall W% 510 with 1 conference Championship
Reeves had 174 Ls including POs in 377 games. overall W% 536 with 4 conference Championships

Reeves had more PO appearances and never won a SB so racked up more big Ls in the postseason

TECHNICALLY Reeves had 175 while fishface had 171.5 including POs.

but in regular season NFL, and props to fishface for quitting at the exact moment to NOT be atop this list, Reeves has 166 while fishface has 165.5 with NFL technically counting ties as half Ws and half Ls

Steckel should be the worst, but some how the Titans decided to scrape the bottom once again and came up with Robiskie
