It appears that half of those attempted are against Philadelphia, NE, and NYJ. Which are unsurprisingly his 3 most productive games. He was 7/14 during this time and a much larger % of his "accurate" passes were caught. I'll give him the Jennings and Sharpe drops, but the rest were off target and Taylor had his facemask pulled on the other.

When he throws the ball more, the receivers perform better. They didn't appear to be doing anything better than they were in the other games, nor did the line. Mariota was just being much more resilient in the pocket and anticipating , as well as the most important part-throwing the damn ball.

Labeling that underthrown ball against Jacksonville as "accurate" is a joke. That was on Marcus

Pretty sure he has been there, Only 5 people in the Mariota Minions club and TJ was never one of them.

A completed pass COULD have been intercepted if...an alien swooped down and knocked it backwards! The pass to Stocker wasn't even tipped so how do you say it could have been intercepted? It could not have been because the defender wasn't close to touching it. And there are a few things you seem to not understand about throwing a football against a secondary.

So if the QB throws the ball to a spot AWAY from the defense, you thing this is INACCURATE? When throwing against zone coverage, you sometimes have to throw the ball to the left, right, in front or behind to prevent making it a contested catch if possible. Sometimes its not possible and sometimes you take a chance on a big play. Do you understand this concept? If you did, you'd understand that your last sentence is completely wrong.

Of course there are times when we don't want to underthrow a ball and it's just a bad pass, but sometimes the QB is doing the wr a favor and leading him away from coverage.

Which Davis catch are you talking about?

Question. If the balls hits the wr in both hands, should they be held accountable for catching that pass? Yes or No?
